Readers' Opinions

I have a hard time showing enthusiasm even when I truly am excited about something. A lot of people think I'm angry or mad even though most of the time I'm cracking jokes and take hardly anything completely seriously. Maybe she could have opened her eyes a bit wider and people would think she was insane...even with a huge could've held her over until she could contain herself.

Nice little story. It's crazy how each attraction can be way different from another in its operating procedure. Personally though I think the Tiki Room job would be kind of nice.

I feel bad for your sister. :( Where does she work now since the tiki room is closed?

FWIW, I love the tiki room, too... in Anaheim. I hope Disney really does come through in converting the mess that the Florida tiki room had become into something much more like the Anaheim original.

That said, my sister ended up going to Thunder after this little episode, and remained there until transferring to guest relations around the time I left the company.

Cool! I really hope the new Tiki room will be way better. I wont be able to see it until next year, because Im not going to MK until the first Fantasyland phase opens. :)

Disney just announced that the new Tiki room at the MK will open Aug. 15.

Robert, your book is the reason I have caved and am buying a kindle... I will give up my crusade that they are evil now! (It wasn't really working very successfully for me anyway)

Oh, so sad! I couldn't help but laugh, but also feel sad for your sister! To be so excited to be part of something you love, only to get it taken away. Being "witchy" isn't for everyone.

Thanks, Kelly! The book was great fun to put together, and I hope that you'll enjoy reading it just as much.
