Cool! Hopefully they can turn that dump of a Bed Western by LEGOLand FL and make it a LEGOland hotel.

I hate to sound negative, but LegoLand in Florida is just far enough from Orlando to be a pain. I don't mind driving to Busch Gardens, they have an incredible zoo spread throughout the park & excellent rides. The Giraffe feeding safari was really nice and we all loved it.

I know this place is designed for 4-12 year olds and they are looking to get a day out of people visiting Disney or Universal, but I think they may have a hard time getting people to stay for more than one day or on-site.

I could be wrong.... anyone been to LegoLand yet or planning to visit when the one in Florida opens?

Robert, it seems that the comments are more about Legoland Florida than about the new hotel at Legoland California. So, in keeping with that vein, the Lakeland Ledger reports that Legoland Florida has announced a shuttle service from Orlando to Legoland. Guess that will have to do until a hotel is built at the Winter Haven park. But, since Legoland Florida might need about 5000 visitors per day (see previous TPI discussion), I don't understand how a busload of only about 60 people matter.
