Published: August 28, 2011 at 5:53 AMThankfully we in FLorida dodged the hurricane, and I got to go to Universal yesterday, but it was really hot! Seriously though, I do feel bad for everyone up in NY, NJ, etc, and maybe soon six flags will be 5 Flags! XD
Published: August 28, 2011 at 6:13 AMWe're on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands, so we saw Irene when she was new. She shut down everything here - but people were lovely. Folks that had power (generator or otherwise) and water made sure that neighbors and coworkers had access to freezers and showers. Light and scattered damage thank goodness.
Published: August 28, 2011 at 1:52 PMThanks to Irene, I found three new leaks in my roof that I'll have to track down tomorrow and repair. Good bye Irene, I've had enough of you here in Pennsylvania, boy do I miss Florida. I just got my internet back about 15 munutes ago. Irene knocked it out in most of northeastern PA where I live, all the way up to Scranton, according to Verizon.
