From last year's Theme Park Attraction Tournament:

"Disneyland's PotC is simply the greatest theme park attraction ever built (and the last one overseen by Walt himself). It is a true whole-family experience, a masterpiece of animatronics, story, and song, and a ride that transcends age, gender, nationality, and theme park bias. Of all the attractions [I have visited], DL's PotC is the only one that I am sure will still be standing in 2067 (its 100th anniversary). If you look up the word "classic" in the dictionary, PotC is used as an example."

Instead of International Talk Like a Pirate Day, we should have a Celebrate Pirates of the Carribean Day.

Disney announced something from POTC4 will be coming to the Florida ride soon. Any guesses?

I know everyone loves PoTC and I do to but I'm going to have to say that it is not the best ride there. I feel that nowadays the storytelling is moving to be more fast paced. Thats just how people are going to absorb it better, Im not saying that it will lessen but Im just saying that rides like Pirates are definately there forever but not the highlight of the newer generation's trip. (I like splash mountain the most. Perfect mix of thrills and storytelling, for me at least.)
