Published: September 24, 2012 at 5:17 PMFirst alcohol....now a pastry chef. What's next, a legitimate gate crashing E-ticket attraction? What depths will they sink to next to ruin this park....ggrrrrr!
Published: September 26, 2012 at 6:10 AMWhy aren't more people excited about this? Classing the park up, and little to no comments? Oh wait...there's no element to complain about.
Published: September 26, 2012 at 7:53 PMI actually really do like the move. I always found the food offerings a bit lacking at the Magic Kingdom. Although the menu at Beauty and the Beast isn't necessarily my cup of tea, I would certainly be excited to try a new sit down restaurant in the Magic Kingdom, where I could actually enjoy an adult beverage with my meal, and possibly cap it off with a world class desert offering. Props to Disney for acknowledging the fact that some responsible adults without children like to go to the Magic Kingdom as well.

I mean I'm all for it but Disney is spending millions on a recycled dark ride, a new restaurant, and doubling it's dumbo spinner. I'm not sure I get what they are going for here. I like the designs, and honestly I like the idea that they are wanting to spend money on making the park more appealing design wise but I think they could have put a really awesome Beauty and the Beast ride in that castle instead of the restaurant. You know.. something immersive along the lines of Harry Potter? (not thrilling, but just completely immersive with lots of effect, like a modern day technology filled haunted mansion) now THAT would be something excited about. Over priced mousse called "Grey stuff"? It's cute.. but I would rather enjoy it from a dessert cart located outside of a theme park attraction!
Consider me underwhelmed with the pastry chef announcement.
