I don't drink beer, but those fruit-combination drinks at Moe's sound VERY appealing to me.

And the menu at the Frying Dutchman is right up my alley.

All of the menus sound like fun. Universal is really taking the themed food idea and running with it. And somehow they managed to make food and drink items without the use of foam.

Sounds yummy and great! The drinks at Moes sound like they taste really good. Odd that the beer is the only alcoholic one.

Having the Ribwich on the menu is from a classic episode.

"What a long strange product rollout it's been..."

"You're way off... think smaller, and more legs." - Krusty in reference to the Ribwich.

The clogger was in the movie and in a Burger King commercial...

I can't wait to try a flaming moe...

I have to say great job Universal... Keep up the great work... Once all this construction is done hopefully they set their eyes on the kids section. Barney needs to be evicted, E.T. needs to go home, and Curious George needs to wander off somewhere.

I was there this morning (to risk it in case Transformers was opened), and there wasn't much going on on fast food blvd. Most of what is described is not yet even built, the only things that I saw that could be opened were Moes, Krusty, and Cletus. I didn't stick around for the actual opening- opting instead to run over to IOA for a butterbeer. I'll be back for a Flaming Moe though!

BTW- did you all know that the Android's Dungueon is just a facade for a restroom?!

There is also Lisa's Tea House of Horror which is a grab and go station offering pre-made salads and sandwiches.

I was there today and the area is very nice. They even made special Springfield napkins for the area. I can guarantee you that everything they have is exclusive to that area. Even the pizza at Luigis looked better than the standard theme park pizza. Everything was done right. I had a Krusty Burger and it was as sloppy, messy and delicious as I could have hoped for. The Duff beer was pretty decent too. The Ribwich is up next.

One spot that I havent seen mentioned is Lisas Teahouse (of Horror). Its a refrigerator section at the beginning serving fruit, cold platters, yogurt and a variety of other snacks and drinks.

As a extra bonus I got in on the soft opening of Transformers and it was very cool. Definitely similar to Spiderman but still very cool in its own right.

I was there today and everything was very well done. They even had Springfield napkins made up. Yes Androids Dungeon is a facade for bathrooms. Moes is its own area and the rest are set up like a food court. One thing I havent seen mentioned yet is Lisas Teahouse (Of Horror). Its a refrigerator section serving fruit, cold platters, yogurt and a decent variety of other snacks and drinks.

I had a Krusty Burger and a Duff. The burger was just as messy, sloppy and delicious as I could have hoped. It was great. The Duff was a decent brew. Slight citrus flavor and definitely made for a hot Florida day. For those curious its brewed by the Indian River brewing company. I saw them moving a new keg and it was stamped on the side.

For deserts there are mini cupcakes in a few different flavors and giant Lard Lad doughnut that looked to be about 7 or 8 inches across.

@ Eric - Thank you for the food descriptions/details! I was salivating as I read your post. Thanks, too, for clarifying what's in Lisa's Teahouse (of Horror) vending machines -- I couldn't really tell from the videos that I watched.

It will be over a year before I get back down to Universal, but I think it will be well worth the wait!

@Melissa. You are welcome. If anyone has any specific questions let me know and I will answer what I can. Also the pizza at Luigis looked a step above normal theme park pizza. Didnt look like it came out of a freezer at all.

Yes both of the descriptions above are from me. New member, long time lurker and I fudged logging in to submit a comment for the first time.

Reading on other sites that the Universal Springfield restaurants customer survey results so far are sky high in satisfaction ratings.
