I would toss in a trip to the Horror Make Up Show as a virtual must do if visiting this park.

Very highly rated and never a wait even in peak season.

Perfect stop during the standard 4pm shower in Orlando during the summer

I really enjoy your blog. I have been reading it for the past year or so after I wentto Universal Orlando last summer (my first time back to a theme park in years!). MY wife and I are in our 30s and live in Miami, but are just discovering the fun of theme parks as adults.

We are going to universal again for 4th of July weekend (CROWDS!! I know, but what the heck). We will be staying at the Portofino Bay (we have stayed at the other two already) and I'm really looking forward to it. I want to get on the new Transformers ride which you covered very well.

We want to hit Disney soon, but we feel like we need at least 4 days to go and with work schedules that isn't an easy one.

All the best.

Great recommendations as usual, but what about Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Robert?

Published: June 26, 2013 at 10:40 PM, as you already know, crowds mean nothing when you stay on site. Both parks have paths that are less used than others, you just have to know all the shortcuts.

We always hit the Horror make-up show and T2-3D when it starts to rain. Then again, almost every ride at Universal is indoors vs IOA.
