I don't think Legoland's ever had a line that long. Given that the last new addition in Florida was based on a mildly successful tv series, I can see this as a placeholder while park operators work on a way to capitalize the massive success of the new movie.

The part that blows my mind is that they built a whole section in Legoland Florida about Chima (a TV show, for pete's sake), but they did 1/15th the effort for the movie. Way to be timely and relevant there.

Warner Bros. just announced a sequel for "The Lego Movie", as it has proven to be a major critical and financial success! Hopefully, the Legoland parks can capitalize on this success by developing a dark ride as I mentioned in the discussion forum "Lego Movie Dark Ride?".
