I'm a Muggle, but not just the one that isn't a wizard. A Sucker, Dupe, Mug who's tricked into parting with one's cash. I hope the end result is worth it.

Hmmm, well, this is embarrassing.....I voted Hufflepuff, which is where I really, truly have always felt I'd end up. I'm a hard worker and very loyal to those who earn it. But, well, I just went and signed up with Pottermore for the first time, just to see what it would say..... I got sorted into SLYTHERIN!!!! I am now completely traumatized and may never visit Pottermore again......

I truly had no preconceived notion of what house I belonged to. I haven't read any of the books but did see all the movies. I went to Pottermore and registered, went through all the steps to join Hogwarts and at the Hat sorting I was assigned to ... Hufflepuff! I kind of like it since their animal is a badger. Quiet but nasty when bothered.

I decided to go to Pottermore.com and do the official Sorting Hat ritual. I'd never been to the site before, and found that it was actually pretty cool.

I mean, you have to sign up, buy a pet, buy a wand, and answer a bunch of questions, but the questions were really entertaining and the artwork on the cards was great!

I was put into Ravenclaw, which I was a little surprised at, as I would normally identify with Hufflepuff. A few things I remember were that I chose Power, Mind-Reading, The Forest, and a Barn Owl. Even if I could remember all of my answers, I wouldn't want to give away exactly what would make you a Ravenclaw.

That was fun.

Pottermore sorted me into Hufflepuff. Makes sense, I guess--I'm a particularly good finder.

My passionately Slytherin daughter was proud that I was sorted into Slytherin as well.
Would have never registered on Pottermore without the curiosity provoked by your poll!

Shouldn't there be a 'none of the above' option?.... :)

The results of the poll look off. I am thinking there is a lot of self-determining which house you are in rather than having the Hat sort you. I think there should be close to 25% in each house.
