Celebrity chef restaurants are super popular these days, especially with the TV exposure from the likes of Top Chef, The Chew, and other foodie programing outside of what you can see on the Food Network. The DC area is full of them, and doesn't even hold a candle to big food cities like LA, San Fransisco, Chicago, and New York. It's pretty incredible to think that Wolfgang Puck, one of the original celebrity chefs, is now just a little fish in a BIG pond.
But as a whole, making Disney Springs a more high end destination is going to help.
Finally, we always read about and discuss how WDW needs to make improvements to DHS and EPCOT, and there is a lot to be desired overall, but this is a massive project that is likely often overlooked because it's not in a park.
Very sad though about the Adventurer's Club...I loved that...why did EVERY club have to go...and why not put it into the Animal Kingdom?
