1) People do not inquire about you when you are on vacation, but when you are coming back. It gives suicidals the time they need to be alone to get their minds decided to carry out the deed.2) Committing suicide in a tourist area gains large media audience and becomes, in essence, a suicide note of sorts...one they don't have to write.3) When borderline personalities are not in familiar surroundings, acute episodes can occur, and with no treatment or support from peers or physicians, drastic self depricating behaviors and extreme measures are exhibited and carried out.
