That's a real shame. My kids enjoyed that show a lot. Especially with the real animals running around on stage.

The real question is though, why just close the show if you don't have anything planned to replace it? Sounds like more fuel for Kevin Yee's "Decline By Degrees" argument. Disney takes something away, doesn't replace it with anything new, and still charges the same admission.

Well, I am all for keeping things fresh, so I will cross my fingers and continue to hope that something newer, fresher, and better will move into that spot....something other than a gift shop, of course!

In the end, I think, for all their profiteering and what not, Disney still (and I'm talking mostly about imagineering here) wants to produce a good show - including rides, shops, restaurants, etc. I have no doubt that they'll find something to take over the Pocahontas show. Plus, it's not like Pocahontas was one of the hotter Disney properties as of 2008, so I can't say that I blame them.

Progress is great...granted that they make progress...

I think it was a good show idea, but executed badly. I must say I was not a fan of the show and hope they can redo it. Its great with animals though, especially since North American animals seem to be rare at Animal Kingdom. I hope they keep it a North American Animal Show.

Still boo to PI closing..
