We spent the rest of the afternoon at the hotel's pool exchanging anecdotes with other guests. My favorite being: "I was at the bar and I told the guy I wanted my drink shaken not stirred ... and then all hell broke loose!"
I enjoyed telling cast members I encountered, "That was the BEST Disney ride ever. How did you do that?"
The hotel's staff should be commended for keeping order and being responsive to guests.
"Disneyland visitor Clint Hendrickson, 32, said he was in the Golden Horseshoe theater watching a show when the temblor hit.
"The ground moved and the chandelier started shaking," he said. "We are from Texas and we thought it was part of the show, until people started yelling, 'Get under the tables!'"
Attractions at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure theme parks and at the Knott's Berry Farm theme park were temporarily closed for inspections after the shaking."
THAT WAS FUNNY, I WAS IN A SALES MEETING AT THE TIME, MY BOSS RAN OUT THE DOOR, WE ALL MADE FUN OF HIM BECAUSE NONE OF US MOVED.
My first earthquake!!! I've been out here for 5 years and finally it's happened. Three months after I moved out here there was an earthquake 20 miles from my hometown in VA! What?!?! Glad to hear no major reports of damage or injuries.
