I don't know about the rest of you, but I am a little surprised that this has come down to snack foods. I thought it would be with items that you could eat at actual counter service or sitdown resturants. Plus I voted for the dole whip. I do love pineapple

I think that price turned out to be a big issue for a lot of voters. That's, ultimately, what made the difference between the Monte Cristo and the turkey legs yesterday, IMHO.

When you think about it, more people will have bought the higher-volume, lower-priced snacks, so they would have a natural numbers advantage in these poll votes.

Now, if you gave people a Monte Cristo and a Turkey Leg, or Cheddar Cheese Soup and a Hot Dog, and asked them to pick their favorites in a taste test, without having to pay, then the results might have been different. But that's not what we were asking here.
