Early Access Ticket for 'Mummy' at Universal HollywoodUniversal Studios Hollywood: USH is offering a early admission ticket, for $10 over the regular price, with two extra hours of ride time on 'Revenge of the Mummy' plus some goodies.
From Robert Niles
Just got word from Universal about a new ticket option for its Mummy ride in California....Posted July 7, 2004 at 5:32 PM Starting July 8, Universal Studios Hollywood will offer an early admission ticket to ride its new "Revenge of the Mummy" attraction. The $59.75 "Rise & Ride" ticket will allow visitors into the park two hours early -- at 7 a.m. In addition to the two hours of ride time on Mummy, vistors who buy the ticket will receive a "Revenge of the Mummy - The Ride" pin, lanyard and poster. (Other attractions will open at their regular times. USH opens to regular ticket holders at 9 a.m. each day.) The $59.75 is $10 over the park's regular $49.75 admission price. The "Rise & Ride" deal is available only through "Print@Home ticketing" on Universal's website and the offer ends July 31. USH does not offer a ride reservation system, a la Orlando's Universal Express, so the "Rise & Ride" ticket marks the park's first attempt at special access to "Mummy," beyond the traditional queues.

Just a shout out to employees and representatives of other theme parks who might be monitoring the site.Posted July 8, 2004 at 10:01 AM Theme Park Insider is happy to publish ticket deals and discounts for any major theme park. Just have your park's publicity or ticketing department e-mail the information to us via http://www.themeparkinsider.com/parks/email.cfm. We regularly get information from Universal Studios Hollywood and Legoland, but haven't heard of any deals from the publicity departments of any other theme parks recently. So, please, send 'em in. And folks who don't work for theme parks, but who hear about similar deals, are also welcomed to submit them. In fact, we have an ongoing "Deals and Discounts" page at http://www.themeparkinsider.com/news/response.cfm?ID=221. Thanks,
