How much money do you need per day for 2 adults at Disney World?

Walt Disney World: The tickets are paid for, its just the food and gifts we'll be paying for. But how much should someone take per day?

we're going to disney world for 14 days, its two adults. how much money should we both take? Would a thousand english pounds (1800 us dollars) be enough?

I mean weve paid for the park tickets and only have to pay for food and gifts but that still only works out at 129 dollars a day.

which seems a small amount considering where you are.

Any thoughts would bevery much appreciated, cheers

figure about 50$ a person for food and about 30 for other stuff
so about 80 dollars a day
(bring your own water to save lots of money)

Yes, the water would be good, but I would say bring at least 100 a day because you never know what you might want to do or get. Two weeks in Disney World is great! You will be able to see everything at your own pace! Also, being at Disney World alot, I would say bring more money to EPCOT because that is where all the good food and shopping is of any of the theme parks. If I were to guess the cheapest day in a park it would probably be MGM, but thats just a heads up! EPCOT will probably take the whole money. 100 to 120 a day for two people sounds about right!

You can go as cheap or nuts as you want. I guess living here I forget about people wanting to take stuff home with them, but the BIG thing you will want to experience is the food! That can be expensive! You can easily burn $80-$120 per day on food alone (per person). Orlando boasts some of the finest cuisine in the world between the great Disney eateries, Universal, two Emerils and a host of excellent local establishments.

I would budget about $100/ day, but I would never bring that kind of cash to Disney. Even travelers checks can be a pain (they take too long to cash). If you have a credit card, I would use that. With the exception of a few small kiosks, every place you go at Disney takes plastic. Also, if you are staying on Disney property, you can use your room key for charging. It's much safer than walking around with large amounts of cash.

It's all up to you... We have been going to WDW for 25 years... You can eat as cheap as you want and as expensive as you want...And one thing I've learned over the years, never ever listen to co-workers and friends, and their exaggerated stories. Examples: That ride sucks, tee-shirts are $100 each, the treat you like dirt, rip-off.. You can still buy a tee-shirt for $19 and a coke for $1.99 The cast members are gracious and helpful. You can stay on property for as little as $77.. So many people go there un-prepared, read as much as you can and learn, you will have a great time. Have fun and enjoy...

I've been in exactly the same situation and I've been twice. Like has been said, it all depends on how extravagent you intend to be. We wanted planned to eat out 'properly' every other night or so an the rest of the time we just ate where we could in the Parks. It's four years since we've been but we took £1400 for food, gift's and extra unplanned trip's. I think we brought money back too.
