Six Flags Great Adventure: What should I ride?

I'm going to great adventure on thursday. I really like inverted rollercoasters, even though I have only been on the 3 at hershey park(First time at a park sence I was 10 so...). I will show up at GA at about 1 because I'm going with my aunt, and she gets off of work at 12. I don't know if kingda ka will be open, but if it is, I am going to try to ride that at the end of the day. What rides should I not miss no matter what? I have heard that the great american scream machine was pretty bumpy, I don't mind stuff like that, so if you don't recomend a ride because of smoothness, Thats not a reason for me. I'm really exicted, I only live like a hour and 30 minutes away from GA, I've always wanted to go. My aunt says nitro is the best, I dunno. It seems pretty good, but I love inversions. My mom REALLY doesn't want me going on kingda ka, but I might anyways if I can get in line within the last hour (I'm staying till closing).

KINGDA KA WILL NOT BE OPEN THRUSDAY SO DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP. ONE THING I SHOULD TELL YOU IF U PLAN TO GO ON SUPERMAN. CAEFUL LINE MIGHT LOOK SHORT BUT IT TAKES FOREVER. SO I DON NOT RECCOMND. BUT A GREAT RIDE. SCREAM MACHINCE ONLY IT LINE IS HORT. NITRO IS GREAT EVEN IF IT IS LONG IT WONT TAKE LONG DUE THEY RUN THREE TRAINS AND THERE CREW IS FAST. BATMAN THE RIDE. ROBIN THE CHILLER. MEDUSA.FREEFALL IS GOOD.MEDUSA SCREAM MACHINE IS REALLY GOOD FOR INVERSIONM. SCREAM MACHINE BUT IT HURTS LIKE HELL.

Getting there three hours late will not help you get on the whole slate of coasters. If Kingda Ka is open, you will end up spending your entire day standing in line for that one ride if you don't get to the park until 1. I might consider using q-bot to try to lessen your wait times, if you have some money to burn. SFGAdv is a real bear after 2 on any day, and getting to this park before noon is essential to realy enjoy this park. If you like inverted coasters, there's only one here, Batman: The Ride, and is like every other Batman: The Ride in the world. Nitro and Medussa are good, but Nitro will most likely have a 1+ hour like by the time you get there. Superman will probably also have a 1+ hour line too. The Chiller is pretty decent, if it's actually running, but its lines can quickly swell to over 1.5+ hours when only one side is operating (plus it's a shuttle coaster with slow loading). The other coasters in this park are not really worth your time, unless you have extra.

If you're not using a season pass, I would recommend against going to this park if you're going to miss the first few hours of operation. Save your money, and come back on a day that you can get to the park when it opens.

Forget the previous negative post. Keep that excitement level up and you can't help but have a great time. And make sure you thank your Aunt for taking you.

Actually Viper is like riding on air, since it's not there anymore! The former Viper site is being prepared for a new Intamin wooden coaster for 2006. All of the track has been removed. The station and the old west buildings by the queue are the only things still left. The area has been fenced off so you can no longer walk directly between Rolling Thunder and Medussa.
