From many sources and websites, as well as park employees, I have heard that the Batman Side of Chiller will be up and running for the season of 06 with new LIMS. Now the question I want to know; will Robin be running along with it? Or perhaps they alter launches, but not launch simualtanously.

Yes, I have heard that rumor. As far I as I know, I believe it to be a rumor, for me and many other people have seen them both launched. However, I don't believe this rumor to be completely false. As far as I know, Batman was wired inncorrectly. It has now been rewired while installing the new LIMs, so theres a chance that they might both be running at some point in 06. As far as the "Too much power" rumor goes, I do not know for sure if it is true or not. But to the best of my knowledge, it is false, although I do not know 100%.

Yes, it has been confirmed Batman will be open but it is unknown about Robin. There is a chance they may both be open. If that is the case, they might actually race again or perhaps alter launches like they did before. I'm guessing Robin probably will be closed though. (It would be great to them both open though) But there also is the idea that 06 will be GA's best season for a long time with two new roller coasters, so they might try to have all their coasters open and operating.

Wheels asembly put on backwards.

I have been to the park several times this year and ridden Batman and Robin. Batman was only open for a short while but they alternated lauches with eact other after one cleared the LIM's on the spike. Batman was open on and off for about 3 weeks until Robin's wheel assemblys were done backwards and borowwed from Batman shuting it down for a little while. Finally they both re-opened for about a week until Robin had a huge incident when it stopped (not valleyed or saddled) just stopped at its low point during a run with people on it. They were helped to safety and the ride has been shut down since. The park says it is investigating the cause but it is still unknown, however, photos taken around the acident time show heavy damage to the train as well as the track.

It did reopen this season, but alas, very breifly. It was open for about three weeks in May. During that time it ran somewhat reliably, but still shaky. I did manage to get on it 4 times this past season. It closed down for the season after Robin had the wheel assembly incident. Don't know yet if there are plans to run it next season.
