Phone number for closed rides at Magic Mountain?

Six Flags Magic Mountain: I'm looking for a phone number that is updated daily on which rides are open or closed for SFMM

Does anyone know if there is a phone number you can call for SFMM that will tell you which rides are open that day and which are closed? I'm planning a day trip soon and this type of info will certainly be helpful!

Good Luck!!

Six Flags barely knows what is going to be running five minutes from now. I would suggest watching this website, the numerous coaster boards, and Screamscape for operational updates. As a rule of thumb, you can expect the following coasters to be closed over the next month...

Revolution--has been SBNO (standing but not operating) for over 2 years

DejaVu--numerous operational problems, and I wouldn't count on it operating until at least May

Revolution, Ninja, and Superman: The Escape--These three will probably stay down during the Tatsu construction along with any food stands on Samurai Summit

X--SFMM may institute a tempurature shutdown that could prohibit operating in weather below 75 degrees because of the recent valleying problems

Then, you can expect Rolling Thunder, Batman, Riddler's Revenge, Goliath, and Viper to all be operating with just one train until late spring. As we found a few years ago, the off-season at SFMM may be less crowded, but that doesn't mean it's a better time to go.

Rolling Thunder? What is that?

Anyhow, he is right. MM in notorious for closing rides with no notice and confusing the hell out of visitors to the park. I doubt there would be a number informing of closed rides, and the times I've called MM for operating hours, not one option had anything to do with closed rides. Sorry.

Rolling Thunder is the racing wooden coaster across the country at Six Flags Great Adventure. I assume that Russell meant to refer to Colossus, which is the racing wooden coaster at Magic Mountain.

Also, Flashback (not Revolution) is the coaster that's been SBNO for a couple of years.

Yeah, sorry, the editing function does not appear to be working as I mispoke about Colussus and Flashback.

I saw Flashback on the menu yesterday on SFMM website. Does that mean it's now open? Whew, thanx for clearing that up about Revoulution, I hope it's operating when I visit in a couple of wks.
