Planning a visit in August
Six Flags Magic Mountain: Planning on a trip to Six Flags Aug 15, 16, or 17. Which day is better in order to ride the most coasters that will be opened. Lived in Florida and have done the parks there.
I am planning on going to Six Flags Aug 15, 16, or 17. Does anyone known which will be better to get the most coasters in that are opened. I am only going here instead of the Universal because I lived in Florida for ten years and did the parks there more than enough times that I did not want to repeat. I am orginally for Indiana and go home about once a year and drive to Cedar Point. But this year I decided to go to California instead. Can anyone help me plan my trip.
although I don't work there anymore, I feel obligated to help you! Ha! Go on any day but Saturday! Enjoy your stay, and dress for hot dry weather!
i highly recomend bringing a towel with you. why? well, the seats on some ride can get very hot during the warm weather, so you could use the towel to sit on. i know the buccaneer gets closed down during the day when it is hot because the seats are too hot to sit on.
I would recommend going to Knotts Berry Farm instead. The staff is friendlier and the park is much cleaner. MM is a mob of obnoxious teens that line jump. Also rides at Knotts don't have ridiculously long lines.
Jack,
Have you been to SFMM this year? I went a few weeks ago. I didn't expereince packs of unruly teens. The lines were not long for anything accept Tatsu, Batman the Ride, and X.
SFMM has way more, and way better coasters than Knotts. Frankly, I'm not sure how Knotts is still in business.
it's not just teens that jump the lines, alot of adults do it as well.
That's for sure. At Astroworld, we had line jumpers for UltraTwister--I miss that ride! :(
