Six Flags Magic Mountain: Would like some help from seasoned pros. Considering visiting on 4th of July.

Hi Everyone!

I'm planning to visit Magic Mountain sometime this week, I could go on any day from this Saturday until, and including, Thursday (the 6th of July).

I'm wondering which day you think will have the shortest lines and most rides working (if that's predictable), I was considering going on the 4th of July, which I think could work out really well, or very, very badly, what do you think?

I have also read a lot of posts saying Sunday is a good day to go, would this apply this week, or would it be safer to go on Monday/TuesdayWednesday/Thursday?

I'm thinking my plan of attack will be to get there when the gates open (ticket already purchased) and then buy a fastlane voucher and then head to X, or do you think the line will already be too long by then?

I live in Australia where there are not many decent parks, so I'm anxious to get the most out of my visit!

Thanks in advance!

James

Right as the park opens, sprint to X. Then Do Viper and Tatsu. Work your way clockwise and skip Physclone (rough). But go directly to X. Goliath as your late day ride would be wise. Pack some water bottles and pack a lunch. Food and drink at MM is expensive and bad. Revolution should be a last ride.

Thanks a lot mate!

What do you think about visiting on the 4th of July? Good idea or crazy idea? Would it be better on Monday/Wednesday?

Do you think i should bother with getting a Fast Lane pass?

Thanks!
James

Fourth of July might be bad. Just hope Californians decide to spend 4th of July at the beaches. Use a fastpass if you want multiple rides on X or Tatsu.
