If it is sold to be torn down, odds are there will be lots of protests.... and the odds of those protests doing any good are about the same as heck freezing over.
I think the more important question is, will guest behaviour change now that they realise they are at risk of closing Six Flags.
Will teens still go and spend very little money on each trip. Will they throw trash everywhere, stick gum everywhere, scratch their initials into everything, will the continue to run around, yelling, getting in fights...
There is a website that has cropped up called "SaveMagicMountain". There big action is selling T-Shrits advertising their web site and having rally's at a bar. Dudes, if you want to save Magic Mountain, have people go to the park and buy a Magic Mountain T-Shirt. Have a rally at the park.
The park isn't going to close because the CEO of Six Flags is an idiot.....
The park may close because it looks like this:

That's funny...I thought they were talking about selling the park BECAUSE of the revolting teenagers!! ;)
Seriously, NO company will want to throw money into a park that is consistently trashed by rowdy kids...no company that wants to make a PROFIT, that is. It's a shame if it closes, but if it does, the 'rowdies' will have to take a long, hard look in the mirror.
