i will be visiting sfmm in august on a monday and im wondering what rides i should head for first. And should i get a flashpass because its still the summer holidays?
I'd head for Tatsu first. That is where the crowd is heading these days.
You can the follow the crowd to X, but I think that puts you in the crowd all day.
I prefer to jump to the back of the park and hit Batman the Ride, Scream, Goliath, Riddler's, etc while everyone is still at the front of the park.
This means you'll be waiting long time for X later in the day, but I think the extra time you spend waiting for X is small compared to the shorter lines you'll find at the back of the park right after riding Tatsu.
i agree with what darrell said..he's right...but with the flashpass..id say maybe they are worth the fact that you cut in lines but really do you want to pay that much money for just 4 passes? but its up to you on...i suggest follow darrell's advice and you should be able to have almost every ride done in the park by nightfall..

Ok thanks for the advice. This is what i was thinking of doing. On a website someone said that the rides for fastpass when he went where
tatsu goliath scream riddlers and some others. So what i was thinking was buy fastpass(i might aswell buy fastpass i got online tickets) for them four rides, go to X first then viper or dejavu then batman then my fastpasses then collusus or something. That means ive got on all the good rides. Is that a good idea?
If you are going to buy FlashPass, then Tatsu would be a good ride to use it on.
Riddler's, Goliath and Scream were all such walk-on's when I was at SFMM last month that I wouldn't have used FlashPass for them. If you arrive half-hour before openeing, then do X or Tatsu, then head to the back of the park for Batman, Riddler's, Goliath, Scream you should get on those with little to no wait.
One caution on using FlashPass for Tatsu. You can't get front row. The FlashPass gates only get one of the back 4 rows. I thought front row would be better on Tatsu so waited a little extra longer for it.... I'm not sure it really was any better though.

Ok thanks.Should i do this, buy a flashpass for four people x 1 ride(tatsu)me my dad mum and sis.Head to X first then hit scream goliath riddlers and batman as you said then all the others rides like viper dejavu(if open)colusus and al the other rides.And i might be able to do some of the big ones again later in the day.Is that a good idea? Can you use your flashpass anytime in the day so could i use mine at 9.00pm to ride tatsu?
Ummm, I didn't see flashpass for Magic Mountain on the Flashpass link/site. Will they have flashpass there?
