Sea World San Diego: i dont know if i am getting old or something, but the things i though i didnt like, seem to have gotten better.
i went to sea world san diego and i was really impressed. i dont know if i am getting old or something, but the things i though i didnt like, seem to have gotten better. they have a sea lion show at night that mocks all their other shows which was great.
also, i though it was funny that they have some sort of hand scan system.
anyways, sea world san dirgo rules, must go.

All of the Sea World parks continue to improve with different types of shows and attractions. They are also trying to move slowly into the realm of thrill rides and interactive rides to compete with the ever changing market.

When my parents come to orlando now, they much rather prefer to go to Sea World than the other parks here.

I might be going to Sea World San Diego next week. Unsure still... I haven't been since 2003 when I had a "bronze pass."

Oddly enough, Rafael, if I had to pick ONE show that I liked, and thought of as superior to all the other shows that Sea World does, it would be the Sea Lion/Otter show. It has always been the least 'politically correct' of all the shows in the park.
Even more ironically, a fellow I used to work with at Magic Mountain, back when they had a dolphin show, is now one of the trainers at SWSD, and stationed at SL & O. I hadn't spoken to him for years, and just about fell out of my chair when I found out where he'd ended up. This is mainly because he didn't usually have a high opinion of Sea World in general at the time I knew him.
Then again, people change. Times change. Shows change (at least in scripting if not always in behaviors). I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, but even my buddy at SL & O would have a hard time dragging me into the park these days.
Keep the peace(es).
take a bow great park and is goin to get even better with the new ride comin in 2008 called seaquest an underwater adventure supposed to be like 20,000 leagues under the sea but more anamatronics and storyline etc.. to be honest i cant wait for this development
'Tis a sad day when I see what could have been a top-class (in ALL respects) oceanarium judged to be improving due to a new ride going in.
I wonder what we'd have seen if they'd spent that same amount of $$ on animal exhibits and/or education?

I live in San Diego, and I go there a lot and I have to agree. It's a great park. They have a ton of cool exhibits and shows. Plus the park has a nice set up.
Sea World San Diego is awesome. I have been to all the Disney, Universal and the other Sea World parks in the country and Sea World San Diego is the most relaxing and scenic of them all. It is a beautiful theme park that is getting better every year. Can't wait to go there again.
