Trip and fearfest ReportKings Dominion: I wouldnt suggest anyone going on the first weekend of fearfest for the crowds are terrible.
From Christy ShumanHey guys I just got back from Kings Dominion again, I went on Sunday 10/8, we were supposed to go Saturday but the weather was ugly so we decided to wait. Well they had the park decorated really neat for fearfest. They had ghost and witches and other things throughout the park. At about 6:30 they started pumping fog out, man that was weird to walk through Old Virginia and not even be able to tell where you are going. Also they had staff dressed up in costumes who would jump out and scare you. We had this one lady that followed us almost all the way out of old virginia, it was so funny. Well as for the mazes they were ok I guess nothing all that great. The best one to me was Blood Shed and it opened at 3pm, I only did 3 of them anyway(beware- the lines for these mazes get terribly long). The blood shed was definately good and we also saw Elvira 3D which was pretty good, and maze of madness. After that I was ready to hit some coasters again. Now for the rides!

Italian Job- We hit this first thing in the morning and only waited like 10mins but we hit it later on too but waited about 45mins. I love this ride, it is so neat, I cant wait until my 4year old is tall enough to ride it.
Volcano- The best Ride in the park, You know it and so smooth. Wait time 45mins. There were more crowds than I expected on this day too. Rode this one 4 times throughout the day. Waits got a little shorter at night.
Anaconda- Seemed alot smoother for some reason, it didnt bash my ears nearly as bad or jerk my neck around. I actually enjoyed it this trip. We rode it 3 times. This wait time fluctuated from no wait to 10 mins and there was one time when we waited almost 30mins, the crowds were just so heavy in mid day.
Flight of fear- Only rode this once, in the morning, it was great, hasnt changed a bit. The ride op on this one is just cool. He said "Launching in 3, 2, 1 verrrumm. lol This wait in the morning was about 10mins.
Rebel yell- The backwards to this was not running all day. But the frontwards was awesome. Wait time mid day about 20mins.
Hurler- Did not run all day long, I was so upset.
Hypersonic XLC- AWESOME rush. nothing can prepare you for this launch. We rode this 4 times. We were lucky to ride that many times, When we rode it at night it of course shut down not once but twice so alot of people got out of line, I mean ALOT. But the ride ops and maintenance men were busting their butts to get the ride back going and they had it back up in 15mins.
Grizzly- Rough as always but we had to ride it at night, OMG awesome at night. Wait about 10mins
We didnt ride the Ricochet and the Avalanche this time as we just didnt feel the wait was worth it, I wouldnt suggest anyone going on the first weekend of fearfest for the crowds are terrible. I definatly learned my lesson, but we still had a good time.

From Christy ShumanI see they are having some fall and cheer dance competition on the 21st, I dont know but I am assuming that will probably cause large crowds so I guess I will come prepared!
