Busch Gardens Tampa: When does the Busch Gardens Africa's shuttle leave the park and return to Orlando ?

Hi,

I'm going to Orlando in April. I'm alone and I'm a non-driving person. I've got a question, I haven't been able to find the answer anywhere, even on the dedicated site. When does the Busch Gardens Africa's shuttle leave the park and return to Orlando ? At what time precisely ? Because I've read on this site's forum that it returned too early, is that right ? Could it be better (keeping in mind the budget and the time)to go to Tampa using the Geyhound bus and catching a cab to reach the park (and reverse for the return trip) ?

Thanks a lot in advance for a quick answer.

If you look just a little harder at the official busch gardens africa website you will click on the park information tab and then click on the Busch Gardens shuttle link. It will take you to the correct website and info you need on transportation. Its a $10 round trip fee and all you gotta do is reserve your day and pickup location. Now, Whether or not the shuttle leaves the park early i do not know. But call 1-800-221-1339 for more info on that subject too. Hope that information was helpful and have a great time man!!

We did the 5-park Flex ticket for Universal, Sea World, and BGT last spring. It included transportation to and from Tampa. Unfortunately it did not leave alot of time for us to explore BGT. We left Universal at 8:30 and made another stop to pick up passengers. We arrived at BGT at 10:30 but then had to stand in line to obtain tokens for the return bus trip. By the time we entered the park it was 11:00. Thus we arrived at the peak time and lines were already >1 hour long for most attractions. The bus returning to Orlando left at 5pm. If you were late, they would leave without you. That gave you ~6 hours at the park during peak business. Obviously we weren't able to do everything we wanted to do. Lines for Sheikra were ~2 hours. We didn't want to spend 1/3 of our day standing in line for one ride - thus we had to pass. We were disappointed with the transportation. I would consider other options.
