You can probably find out on a school's website or local gov't website.Posted March 20, 2007 at 3:29 PM

different schools have different spring breaks. this week was a really good week to go. the first parking lot didn't get filled up, so no big lines at any rides.Posted March 23, 2007 at 3:01 PM

The best time to go to Magic Mountain is in October, the last week they are open during the weekdays (the week of Halloween) on that Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. I have been going to Magic Mountain regurally for the past 20 years or so, and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for any ride at the park during those days. One time, it started sprinkling, and there were only about five people, including my friend and I, in the entire park. Most people weren't aware that they have special cars for running the rides in the rain. I rode Viper so many times without ever getting off, that my friend got sick and I spent the rest of the day riding all the rides by myself. The best part of that particular trip, was that we got to come back the next day for only a dollar (through the parks Twicket program). I've gone to the Park on various days throughout the year (usually on a friends' insistance that it was the best time to go), but, in 20 years, I have never found a less crowded day (consistently so) to go than during the week in October the week of Halloween. Plus, you should see how they decorate the park etc. for Halloween. (Consider this a trade secret and try not to spread this info around too much, or it will get crowded then). Thanks.Posted March 16, 2009 at 9:51 PM

I went in September & it was awesome. NO crowds whatsoever. Just maybe 5-10 min. waits on the rides. It WAS exTREMEly HOTT! But if I ever get to go back & ride what I missed, I'll definitly go in Sept. or October & plan my day a bit better to avoid the heat if there's any.Posted March 17, 2009 at 9:00 PM

We went last August and purchased the Flash Pass and didn't need it. I think we went mid-week, like Tuesday or Wednesday. Got there after the park opened and decided on the Flash Pass and didn't need them. It was nice to have for Tatsu, though, and that was the second ride we hit. Every time we used a Flash Pass, the ride operators actually gave them back to us. The lines were long at some attractions, non-existent at others. IT GETS HOT AT THIS PARK, I think based on being in the middle of a desert. The year before last we went in mid-June and despite putting on sunblock/sunscreen every couple hours, we all got sunburned. Posted March 17, 2009 at 9:37 PM

hi guys. I'm travelling at the end of this month all the way from Australia, do you reckon Magic Mountain will be busy? We're going to try our best to go on a weekday.Posted May 11, 2009 at 3:36 PM
