Question from the UK
Six Flags Great Adventure: I was just wandering will it be open between the end of March and beginning of April? and will it be very busy?
Hello all,
During sometime between March and April I'm traveling to New York with my family from the UK. I was hoping to go to New Jersey for one day and go to six flags great adventure (It looks amazing), I'm really excited about riding Kingda Ka and El Toro!
I was just wandering will it be open between the end of March and beginning of April? and will it be very busy?
I'm not really sure what the weather will be like during the Easter time but I'm kinda hoping theres hardly any rain as I heard they close Kingda Ka when theres even a drizzle.
Thanks.
Their schedule for next year isnt up yet, but if you go off when they opened this year (April 1st) you probably will have a chance to go. Now that being said the weather at the end of March and beginning of April isnt always the best. Always a chance of snow, but generally the temp is anywhere from 40s-low 60s. (Think 4-17) I am not from the area or ever visited the area, but I dont think the park will be very busy with those type of temperatures. (I could be totally off though) Hopefully that helps and someone with more NJ experience can add their two cents!!!
Hi becky,
Thanks for reply. If it opened this year on April 1st there is a good chance it will open around the same time next year (which is good!).
Not sure what to say about the weather, it's good that it will probably be less busy but it's not so good that it will be cold... never mind, I'll survive :).
Charlie,
check out www.weather.com and search for weather for Jackson, NJ on the top. Right before you leave for the trip you can see what the weather is going to be like (10 day forecast) and plan accordingly. I hope that helps! Hope you enjoy your trip to the States!!
Becky
Thanks for site, will check the weather before I go. :)
Last year they did open in the beginning of April but I'm almost positive it's only open for weekends when it first opens.
