Would not surprize me, people seem to forget how much land around Great Adventure they own. Can we say a "BOAT LOAD OF LAND"? They've got to keep up with the east coast building spree and Great Adventure is the main SF park on the east coast.

I thought Busch had exclusive rights to build B&M divers in the US.

David, Busch only has the rights till around 2009. I think SF will take advantage of that.

Oh man I totally hope SFGA gets a dive machine, if they do and its anything like oblivion or sheikra, i will be buying a season pass that year...

Well we all know how reliable Screamscape is...
Although, A B&M dive machine would be really cool. Then they would have 5 B&Ms!

No, no... Are you kidding me? They already have... 12 coasters, or something like that, and they already had one for '08.... NOT happening

Eli, How do you know??? Kingda Ka was built in 05 and El Toro followed in 06. So you never know. Im not pulling this rumor out of the blue.

Maybe SFGA is taking the place of SFMM in the "let's try to compete with Cedar Point" contest.

I'd honestly be a little disappointed if this turned out to be true because it goes against what Shapiro said a while back about trying to make the parks more family friendly.

Yeah, justin, I guess you're right. I forgot that SFGAdv is one of the two that the SF corporration mainly focuses on (SFMM is the other). They just keep getting new things for the press, and it just doesn't seem to be working as well as other parks. That's because as soon as they get a new coaster, it gets a lot of press, then the next year it goes to the new attraction. Except Kingda ka. The press isn't on kingda ka, but the riders are.

Steve and Logan, yeah, Cedar point is still way ahead in the coaster department against SFGAdv and SFMM. No chance... YET

A dive coaster would probably make the most sense although I would like to see an extremely tall drop tower like at KD. RIP freefall!

I heard from an employee at Great Adventure say that we were going to get two coasters for 2009. Sweet!

Tell me the source, cause I don't believe it.

Well, like you said Justin, I saw the dive machine rumor on screamscape, but an employee at the Golden Kingdom told me we were getting two new coasters for 2009. He didn't elaborate on it very much. He didn't even say anything about a dive coaster. Sorry if I failed to explain it clearly.

^ I understand. But with the debt Six Flags is in, I doubt we will see 2 new coasters for 09.
