I'm pretty psyched, but I'm having to work on DH to convince him to go to KD. We went a couple of summers back, but it was during the time Volcano was down due to the nincompoop dropping the cell phone on the tracks, messing up the ride for a number of weeks. We got to check out Italian Job in its inaugural weeks, and the other coasters in the park, but no Volcano, so I'm trying to use that as leverage, and now I've got Dominator, too!Posted March 10, 2008 at 6:23 PM Some people are pooh-poohing anyone for getting excited because it's not a brand new coaster, but it's new to me, and I would've have gotten to ride it if it hadn't found a new home! So, go Dominator! But it is definitely sad about the closing of Geauga Lake ...

Volcano will remain as the only somewhat decent coaster at KD until they finally decide to install a GIGA or STRATA coaster! I'm sure that Cedar Fair will make it happen eventually!!!Posted March 11, 2008 at 7:30 AM

^ Why do you like gigas and stratas so much?Posted March 11, 2008 at 3:16 PM

HAHHA...NO. There not so great ecpecailly stratas. There only like 50 seconds long. Im much rather ride a non giga or strata like el toro.Posted March 11, 2008 at 4:43 PM

Well that's cool. GIGA's and STRATA's will always have 2++++ hour long lines so what you think or like doesn't mean much!!!Posted March 11, 2008 at 6:48 PM

I have one more thing to add. Jake, you're right about needing a giga or a strata because of the suspence, but first, i would like a coaster at least 180-205 feet in the next 3 years. Kings dominion doesn't seem to have very tall coasters, and Dominator will end up being the tallest there!Posted March 12, 2008 at 12:44 PM
