Effectiveness of Gold Flash PassSix Flags Great Adventure: Are there every long waits for a ride if you have the Gold Flash Pass
From Michael Brosse
I'm planning on taking my son one day this summer and buying the gold flash pass; do you ever have to wait more than 15 minutes or so for a coaster if you have the gold flash pass? Also, is it worth it to pay for the closer parking (how far is the walk for the regular parking)? I haven't been to SFGA in 16 years, so I'm trying to get all of the coasters in in one day (maybe doing some of them two or three times if we really like them!).Posted May 27, 2008 at 4:36 PM

It is a great idea to get the Gold Flash pass A group of my friends and myself went last year for Frigth Fest and got the Gold Flash Pass and never waited more then 15 min. for any roller coaster and the park was packed. As far as the parking the regular parking is not a bad walk but its up to you on if your wanna be closer or not.Posted May 28, 2008 at 5:13 AM

In regards to parking, I was just there last month and parked in their main lot to the right of the front entrance. It was a simple walk to and from the park and easy to get in and out. Don't use the adjacent lots that offer closer parking and easy in and out. They save you about half the distance.Posted May 28, 2008 at 5:27 AM

I just got back from SFGradv on May 19th. Flash pass gold rocks. All the lines had 1-2hrs waits for most of the coasters and the longest I waited with the flash pass gold was 14mins for Dark knight and 15mins for Kingda Ka. 10mins for superman and 2-5 mins for everything else. It is SO worth the money. Preferred parking-dont pay the extra money. The general parking is literally right beside it. ALOT of the spaces right in front of the gates are handicapped anyway. So I wouldnt pay the extra 10bucks to save 10 extra steps. Posted May 28, 2008 at 1:09 PM
