Has anyone been on it? I'm going tomorrow and I wanted to know how it was.Posted May 28, 2008 at 1:50 PM

I haven't had a chance to ride it yet but I plan on hitting it this summer. Since you are going today Alex, let us know how it is!Posted May 29, 2008 at 5:12 AM

Lines were ridiculous when we were there last Sat/Sun so we didn't ride it. I was told that there is a separate line for "singles" and if you wait in that line, it significantly cuts down on the wait.Posted May 29, 2008 at 8:34 AM

I literally just got back from the park, and Fahrenheit is amazing! Put your hands up on the drop and you feel like you're about to fall out, plus the cobra roll is one of the smoothest I've ever been on. It's the best coaster in the park with Storm Runner as a close second. Posted May 29, 2008 at 5:58 PM P.S. Near the Comet, there's a billboard that says a new ride is going to be announced on July 1 for the 2009 season. Can't wait to see what it is!

Oh, no! It better not REPLACE comet!Posted May 30, 2008 at 1:35 PM

Believe it or not, but that exact thought went through my mind. I hope it doesn't replace the Comet either.Posted May 30, 2008 at 4:54 PM

I doubt it will replace Comet. Comet is a very popular ride that is right in the view of the mid-way, it attracts many guests.Posted May 31, 2008 at 5:40 AM

Yeah, I guess you're right. But theme parks seem to be taking down more and more good rides at a slow rate every year, which I'm afraid of. I think it might have been false advertising, though, because they just got a really good and expensive new one in '08. I don't expect Hershey to get 2 new coasters in 2 years. Does anybody else?Posted May 31, 2008 at 7:48 PM
From Greg Bark
They may add a cheap, family style coaster. Back in 05, one year after Storm Runner, they were going to add Turbulence, the world's first frequent faller coaster, for 2 million dollars. The compnay that built it suddenly raised the price to 3 million in the winter of 04 due to the increase in steel prices. Hersheypark wasn't prepared for this, so the attraction was cancelled.Posted June 1, 2008 at 4:12 AM

Yeah, Greg, you're probably right. Maybe they're just making a wild mouse coaster. Hopefully the coaster is going to be unique compared to others. If it is a wild mouse, I would like it to be somewhat like Richocet at Kings dominion, because that is really unique.Posted June 1, 2008 at 8:28 AM

If they are going to add a new family coaster, why not add a Spinning wild mouse like Sierra Sidewinder or Tony Hawks Big Spin. Posted June 1, 2008 at 12:23 PM
From David Kirby
They already have one Wild Mouse. They really don't need another.Posted June 1, 2008 at 6:26 PM
