Has anyone been on it? I'm going tomorrow and I wanted to know how it was.

I haven't had a chance to ride it yet but I plan on hitting it this summer. Since you are going today Alex, let us know how it is!

Lines were ridiculous when we were there last Sat/Sun so we didn't ride it. I was told that there is a separate line for "singles" and if you wait in that line, it significantly cuts down on the wait.

I literally just got back from the park, and Fahrenheit is amazing! Put your hands up on the drop and you feel like you're about to fall out, plus the cobra roll is one of the smoothest I've ever been on. It's the best coaster in the park with Storm Runner as a close second.

P.S. Near the Comet, there's a billboard that says a new ride is going to be announced on July 1 for the 2009 season. Can't wait to see what it is!

Oh, no! It better not REPLACE comet!

Believe it or not, but that exact thought went through my mind. I hope it doesn't replace the Comet either.

I doubt it will replace Comet. Comet is a very popular ride that is right in the view of the mid-way, it attracts many guests.

Yeah, I guess you're right. But theme parks seem to be taking down more and more good rides at a slow rate every year, which I'm afraid of. I think it might have been false advertising, though, because they just got a really good and expensive new one in '08. I don't expect Hershey to get 2 new coasters in 2 years. Does anybody else?

They may add a cheap, family style coaster. Back in 05, one year after Storm Runner, they were going to add Turbulence, the world's first frequent faller coaster, for 2 million dollars. The compnay that built it suddenly raised the price to 3 million in the winter of 04 due to the increase in steel prices. Hersheypark wasn't prepared for this, so the attraction was cancelled.

Yeah, Greg, you're probably right. Maybe they're just making a wild mouse coaster. Hopefully the coaster is going to be unique compared to others. If it is a wild mouse, I would like it to be somewhat like Richocet at Kings dominion, because that is really unique.

If they are going to add a new family coaster, why not add a Spinning wild mouse like Sierra Sidewinder or Tony Hawks Big Spin.

They already have one Wild Mouse. They really don't need another.
