Kings Dominion: VIP or Value pass?

Kings Dominion: What does first in line ride access mean with the VIP pass at Kings Dominion?

Can anybody explain what front of the line access means at Kings Dominion? The season passes cost a little more for VIP versus Value and most of the explanations seem clear. But when you click on the explanation of benefits it says "First in Line Ride Access. VIP Pass Holders are admitted to the “Bottom of the Park” 10 minutes before other guests. Enter via the walkway behind the Eiffel Tower". This suggests that you just get a 10 minute head start at the beginning of the day. Am I right? Also, does anybody have any opinions on whether VIP is worth the extra cost over Value? Thanks.
