Did anyone attend the "Wheel of Fortune" audtitions at SeaWorld this past weekend and if so, did you make it up on stage and get invited back to the second round in October?Posted September 29, 2008 at 9:17 PM

'Wheel of Fortune.' At Sea World.Posted September 29, 2008 at 9:45 PM As if I needed further evidence that they've completely forgotten what it means to be an oceanarium. Susan Davis was more on the money (no pun intended) than I think she ever imagined. What next? "American Idol" auditions at the whale stadium? "America's Next Top Model" candidates becoming trainers-for-a-day? Ugh... Maybe I shouldn't be giving them ideas. Happier travels.

In their defense, the auditions were held in the "Conference area", a separate entrance from the SeaWorld park entrance. Posted September 29, 2008 at 10:56 PM You could not access the park from the audition area, and likewise, you could not access the auditions from within the park. I think its a great idea to get SeaWorld some promotion. The finalists will be taken to CA in December for recordings, this won't happen at SeaWorld. I am pretty surprised this wasn't done at Disney though, as WFTV is an ABC affiliate.

If Sea World is in need of such promotion that they would benefit from "Wheel of Fortune" auditions, then something is more seriously wrong than even I could imagine. ;-)Posted September 30, 2008 at 9:03 PM Sorry... The phrase "defending the indefensible" keeps popping into my skull. Happy travels.

Oh come on. We love Wheel of Fortune! I thought it was great but would have been happier if I was chosen!Posted February 3, 2009 at 2:09 PM Quite a push for the Disney Hotels and/or Orlando Vacation... You sure could tell who was advertising this!
