Visiting Busch Gardens for Howl O Scream
Busch Gardens Tampa: What rides are open during the Howl O Scream event?
So I'm heading to Busch Gardens Tampa for Howl O Scream, and was curious if there any any attractions that aren't open during the event? Mainly I'm wondering if I'm going to miss any of the rides by skipping the normal operating hours portion of the day?
Haven't been to Busch Gardens Tampa since the days when Akbar was still open. (Some years)
The four big coasters are open (Montu, Sheikra, Kumba and Gwazi) as well as the mouse coaster. Rhino Rally is closed and you can't see any of the animal habitats. The caroussel is closed as well. The log ride was open, but Congo River Rapids was closed. Not sure about the smaller coaster (Scorpion?). Be prepared for HUGE crowds. You will not be able to do all the main coasters and all six houses in one night - and you won't have much time for the shows either.
