I don't know, but probably not for a while (either end of this season or beginning of next)

The current closures are expected to take place right after Labor Day of this year. The new Transformers attraction is slated to open in May of 2011.

i heard Spring Break of this year, but they could always change it.

i'm an AP for Universal Studios, and i can put up the update as to when they are closing when i find out (i hope that made sense o_O)

Why did you post 4 discussions in one day? I think It's againts the rules of forums. I'm not sure about TPI though. And why so early morning? Thank god I am a light sleeper. We have discussions here, you are ruining my 'roughest coaster thread' because I really wanted to know who rode an Intamin stand-up so badly.

Backdraft and Special Effects will be closing April 11, 2010. The new attraction will be open May (or June) 2011.
