Does anyone have a list of discounts that are available for park admission for Spring 2009? I have heard of a Subway discount of $10 per single-day adult ticket.

If you live in Virginia you can buy the Fun Card which costs the same as a one day ticket and come back as often as you want until Labor Day.

I do not live in Virginia. What discounts are available for out-of-state visitors? Thanks.

I am the marketing vice president for Busch Gardens and I'm glad you are planning a visit to Williamsburg. You're in luck because we have our best deal ever for out-of-state tourists this spring. The Busch Gardens Discovery Ticket lets you pay the price of a one-day general admission and you can come back as often as you like during your stay. You can get details and buy tickets online at www.vavacationvalues.com. I highly recommend purchasing tickets online before your visit so you can avoid lines at the ticket windows and get into the park faster. If you're interested in visiting Colonial Williamsburg as well, we have a great combo ticket -- Bounce Ticket -- that gives you unlimited visits to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. Hope you have a great time.

Dan,

No offense, but you can tell you're in marketing. That's really not a discount at all. My family and I have been visiting the almost every year since it has been open as part of a Williamsburg vacation. Kings Dominion offers a $15 discount for a daily ticket if purchased in advance via the web, while you are offering $2 off parking??? as to your point about returning as many times as you want during the 7 day period, maybe it's because we visit every year, but I can do the park in one day - you're not Disney World. And they include the Fast Pass feature in the admission price. I have to admit at $59.99 per person for a day in the park, in this economy we are thinking about skipping it this year. I wondered how the InBev acquisition would affect the park operations and I guess we know now. I still think outside of Disney World Busch Gardens Williamsburg is my favorite park, but you are pricing yourselves out of the market.

Khalid at the top mentioned hearing about a Subway discount. I picked up a coupon at a West Va. Panhandle Subway display yesterday - $5. off single-day admission (adult or child), to a maximum of 6. Good until June 14, 2009.

AAA has Single-day tkts for $51.95 adult/$41.95 child
They have "Discovery" tkts (good for 7 days) for $58. each
(must use before May 15th or after Sept 11th.
