Meal certificates and souvenir cup certificates at Busch GardensBusch Gardens Williamsburg: Will I save money by using our passes or by buying the online meal certificates??
From Lynn Hoskins
We are going to Busch Gardens this weekend. I am trying to figure out the best way to save some money on our food and drink. I have several questions. First, let me say that we have season passes, so that gives us a 10% discount on some food and drinks.....right??? Not totally sure about this. Posted June 23, 2009 at 12:22 PM So on the site BG offers a souvenir cup certificate for $5.59. How much are the cups in the park, and would we get a discount on those with our passes, or would the online certificate be cheaper???? Same thing for food. There are certificates online for meals, but would our meals be cheaper using the passes?? Thanks a bunch!!

You do get a discount on food. I think the cups range from $6-$7. My wife and I bought our cup at the park. We just got one and we share. You get a discount on the refills as well, so this was the best option for us.Posted June 23, 2009 at 1:59 PM

So, would the discount be cheaper than the meal certificate??Posted June 23, 2009 at 2:01 PM

It depends on what you are going to get. If you are looking at getting hamburges, pizza, etc. then go with the discount. If you are going after the more expensive entrees go with the meal certificates. You can buy the certificates at the park as well. Posted June 23, 2009 at 2:17 PM

The refills are about $1 and change with your season pass.Posted June 25, 2009 at 8:24 AM
