Six Flags crowded on July 3rd?

Six Flags Great Adventure: Will July 3rd be a very crowded day at Six Flags Great Adventure?

A group of friends and I were considering going to Six Flags the day before July 4th. In general, are Friday's bad days to go to Six Flags. Will there be a lot of holiday traffic on that day? Basically, will Six Flags Great Adventure be unbearably busy on Friday, July 3rd? Would it make more sense to hold off until the next Monday?

I've never been to SFGAdv, but from my common theme park instincts, going the day before a huge holiday will either be huge crowds, or nothing. Still, fridays are always more crowded than weekdays, sundays are more crowded than fridays, and SATURDAYS are more crowded than sundays. I'd say friday WOULD have a lot, because there will always be a bunch of people at SFGAdv, and that friday is building up to the big day, so people would go before to get it out of the way, for less crowds... but i bet too many people would do that, so... more crowds.

Also, ANY day i would take a monday instead of a friday at an amusement park. the timing would also be great because everyone filed out of town the day before, and it's the start of a new work week, so it would be a lot less crowded!

I'm pretty sure my predictions are accurate, but just be aware, as I said before, SFGAdv always has some amount of a good crowd...
