Well, my fav coaster is Kingda ka, but I've only been to SFGAdv 1ce, and rode it 2ce (in the front). Besides that, I love S:ROS at my home park, SFA, and Lightning racer at Hershey gives me a huge smile, because it's just plain fun. Posted October 21, 2009 at 2:19 PM

Magnum, at Cedar Point. It has speed, intensity, and LOADS of airtime. I love it. Did I mention the airtime? A majority of that ride is spent out of your seat, especially if you ride in the very back or in the ejector seat.Posted October 22, 2009 at 10:36 PM

XXXxxxxxxx....22222!Posted October 22, 2009 at 3:34 PM Simply awesome, amazing, thrilling, everything a good roller coaster is (except maybe perfectly smooth!) ;)

I may be in a minority here but... Dinosaur! Though I agree it could be even better with some more $$ put into it its still a fast, dark fun ride. The Dino near the end who roars always makes me feel nervous, and I LOVE going on with friends (and strangers) when its their first time! priceless...Posted October 23, 2009 at 9:12 AM

Brian, try Hulk back row now. Not so smooth anymore. :( Was my fav until Manta opened!Posted October 25, 2009 at 2:24 PM

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that, Gareth. I was stunned by the rattle last time I rode. Hopefully when Harry Potter opens they'll be able to take Hulk down for some much needed TLC. Posted October 25, 2009 at 5:24 PM

Big Thunder Mtn may not be the ultimate thrill seekers' choice but we always head straight there when we get to Disney.Posted October 26, 2009 at 2:02 AM It always puts a smile on everyone's face and gets you in the mood for a day at the Parks. So it's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad for us.
From Steve Ward
narrowed down to 2Posted October 26, 2009 at 5:25 AM Everest is amazing.. Hulk on a nice sunny day though is the best thing ever..

I haven't gotten around to a lot of theme parks, but so far my favorite is the Texas Giant at Six Flags over Texas. Just a good old fashioned scream on an oversized wooden monster.Posted October 26, 2009 at 11:36 AM

Prolly this one...(you have to see this!)...once they add 65' more to its height. Check out the photo. BEAUTIFUL!Posted October 26, 2009 at 1:32 PM http://www.intimidator305.com/_upload/photo_gallery/construction/10-20-09051.jpg ...and I (obviously) haven't even ridden it, yet. 300' drop, almost straight down...93 MPH. So...tallest, fastest, steepest drop...If it isn't my future favorite, I don't know what is. (And I smile every time I think about it!)

Of what I have done, I'd have to say........man this is tough. Posted October 26, 2009 at 2:04 PM Probably Volcano at KD in the front row, but I recently re-rode Apollo's Chariot and it was still aboslutely amazing. So, I'll go with Apollo, but only if in the front.
From Andrew Holden
Sheikra then EverestPosted October 26, 2009 at 4:13 PM But I haven't ridden Manta yet ;)
From Eli Katzman
Hey adam, does the back have more air time? Or the front (on AC)? And yeah, Volcano in the front is amazing. Anywhere else isn't that greatPosted October 27, 2009 at 12:27 PM
From Adam Nodjomian
Haven't ridden in the back yet, but basically anyhwere you do ride, the airtime is abosultely AMAZING!Posted October 27, 2009 at 2:59 PM
From Satch Foley
Griffin, front row is the best rc. First drop is 205 feet. Straight down, you are facing straight down . Total air time. I was just there last week. There was a "minor wasp issue" or that was what they announced -actually there were 50+ hornets swarming the top of the first lift. I saw at least one rider get stung. I moved over to alpengeist (sp?) and there was only 20 or so wasps over there at the first lift. The wasp added a degree of thrill to the rides.Posted October 27, 2009 at 4:00 PM My top thrill ride would be tower of terror. The best themed drop ride ever. I just rode spiderman five times today but I don't think of it as a thrill ride. I just did RRR at the studios - 4 times, 3 times front row. The vertical lift is fun. The first drop/loop is great but the rest of the ride is average. The on ride sound system is awesome. I forgot how to pick songs "off menu",so I stayed with the parks choices.

thanks everyone :) but i'd have to change mine to superman: Ride of Steel in SFNE becasue it is the greatest ride with the most airtime.Posted October 29, 2009 at 11:47 AM

d-man, have you been on anything with more air time? If not, what's 2nd and 3rd for you?Posted October 29, 2009 at 1:21 PM
From D-Man O'Connell
yes i have, nitro at SFGadv had a ton of airtime. and second would be kingda ka and third would be splash mountain because it has an amazing storyline.Posted October 30, 2009 at 12:58 PM

Thanks Ms. Jackson for the Mummy comment.Posted October 31, 2009 at 6:43 AM My three fave thrill rides from third to first. 3. Hulk - Epic launch, great inversions perfect length. 2. The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man - FANTASTIC effects, climactic finale. And when you realize the vehicles travel along a flat, horizontal ride path it becomes appreciated as a masterpiece. 1. The Jungle Cruise at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom - To date no attraction brings as many thrills and chills as this ... the all time greatest attraction in theme park history!

Wow, tough choice. I love Expedition Everest, as well as Disneyland's Space Mountain and (I know I'm in the minority on this) California Screamin'. The Beast carries a big nostalgia factor (though last time I rode, it was feeling pretty rough). I have been reading everyone's posts, and have been thinking that it really depends on when you ride a coaster. I have fond memories of benign coasters and not so fond memories of great coasters. It just depends on when you ride them. I would be curious as to what other feel about this observation.Posted November 2, 2009 at 11:45 PM

Hulk was kind of really bumby this year . Need's abit of tlc . I loved Manta that was a awesome ride , this was the first time I had been to Seaworld in my three visits to Florida . Definately will be going to Seaworld again on my next visit . But my favourite ride is rock n roller coaster at Hollywood studios .Posted November 3, 2009 at 5:17 AM

Superman Tower of Power at Six Flags ST. Louis 230FT of free fall!Posted November 6, 2009 at 3:43 PM
From Eli Katzman
Yeah, I guess, Anthony. I rode it earlier this summer. But now go to Kings Dominion and try 310. Well, actually, Superman's free fall is only about 190, and the drop tower at KD is about 260 or 250. Still, this huge monster goes 73 mph! Also, on a coaster, Kingda Ka at SFGAdv has a 420 foot drop! Try those both if you ever get the chance! :DPosted November 6, 2009 at 4:47 PM

Am I the first to say the Kraken at Sea World Orlando?? I'm crazy about that ride. Even after they opened Manta, which is an amazing coaster, Kraken still remained my favorite. I'm really small, so I literally feel myself float around in my seat during the zero-gravity roll. The first drop is more intense than Sheikra, in my opinion, and the whole ride is sooo smooth and thrilling. Plus there's hardly ever a wait. :)Posted November 15, 2009 at 12:44 AM

You know... even though I don't think it's the BEST roller coaster-- the roller coaster that has so far DEFINITELY made me "smile" and go crazy each time is Rip, Ride, Rockit at Universal Studios FL.Posted November 17, 2009 at 9:46 PM Come on, you have the ability after the ride to see your freakish expression the entire time. I crack up at myself each time. That makes a good day

CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, VANITY CARD #115Posted November 19, 2009 at 4:55 PM February 2004 FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE A WHITE KNIGHT FOR DISNEY! Sources in Hollywood announced today that Chuck Lorre has made a friendly bid to purchase the Disney Company. His all cash offer of five million dollars (in small bills) plus an S500 Mercedes with only 34,000 miles, Braebus rims and a tricked-out sound system, combined with his successful track record of writing, producing and creating hits for ABC (Roseanne, Grace Under Fire, Dharma & Greg) offers the Disney stockholders an opportunity to escape the clutches of cable giant Comcast. Should his offer be accepted, Lorre plans to create a major motion picture based on the "Teacup" ride and the ride with the fake hippos in the water. As far as ABC was concerned, Lorre said creating hits for network TV is a very difficult proposition but he doubted that he could do much worse than that "Are You Hot" thing. In exchange for rescuing Disney, his only demand was that he be allowed to run the company part-time. His reasoning being that he loves writing and producing Two and a Half Men. He did indicate that he would come in on the weekends to read scripts and approve price increases at the theme parks.
