Two cars, two parking charges! HELP!

Universal Orlando: Where can we meet and take one car into the park?

We both live in Florida. I'm coming from the west, my brother's coming from the east. We don't have a hotel because we live close enough to drive home after the park. I was wondering if there was a place one of us could park for free, late at night, for Halloween Horror Nights so we can avoid paying for both cars. It doesn't matter if it's like 10 miles away either! Any suggestions?

Couldn't you both just go in the same car, as in one of you pick the other up?

Sarah, I'm not sure many hotels will let you use their parking lot to simple park. I do have an idea, there is a shopping center right behind McDonalds at the Crossroads in Lake Buena Vista, if you know where that is Sarah. It's right at the intersection you use to get into Disney. I don't know how late the stores stay open, but that's one place I know of in LBV. You have to think though, is it safe to let your car sit unattended anywhere just to save a few dollars?

How about Downtown Disney?

TGI Friday on Kirkman, just across the road from the parking lot (But I didn't tell you that) ;)

Then pop over for a bit of food or drink after!

I've stayed at that Holiday Inn at the TGI Fridays, that's a pretty busy and well traveled place, might not be a bad choice to slip in.

Bob's right. Crossroads is at the other end of Plaza Blvd from Downtown Disney. To the best of my knowledge they don't close the car park at any time.

I'd think twice before leaving a car at TGIF. It's proxemity to the parks (where healthy people can park and walk to the front gates) begs for people to cheat the system. If I ran that TGIF I would watch my lot and tow the cars of non-patrons.

If your group can all fit in one car I'd park at Downtown Disney when going to WDW and/or at the Turkey Lake Plaza or Kirkman Oaks shopping centers (a couple of miles north on Kirkman Road.

Yeah, Kirkman OAKS, the Publix plaza, would be pretty good. Park close to the shops though.

I've never had issues at TGIF though as the hotel backs on to it so they can't determine whos who!

Yeah they can. All the obese and spotty drivers are from TGIF.

ONLY KIDDING !!
