Hi there,

hoply my english is not to bad to understand my question.
I am from Austria ( Arnold Schwarzenegger :-) you know ) and i will fly with my little brothers to New York. In this case we will visite the great adventure Park. So i have some little question.
1.)
Is it better to lend a car or drive with the bus or anything. I have see that a lend of car coast around about 170 Dollar for 5days. IT is not expensive.
2.)
When is the best date to come in in this park. in order to holidays, vacation or shool trip.
yes, i will by this Flash Golf Pass Ticket. Currently, i dont know who can i buy this tickets. I dont find the link on this page or anything.
In order of the date so we decide to fly at mittle march 19 2010.Is this a good date or a bad date to come in.

So hoply my question are not too much.

I will be very happy when i get answers of anybody

Nice Day
Daniel

The Gold pass might not be needed, but I am not sure SFGAdv will be open in March due to it being cold in the Northwest. Check on when it is open first!

Great Adventure opens for the weekends on March 27th. It opens daily on May 13th. It will also be open for spring break from March 29-April 2.

I would recommend that you go in mid-May when the weather is nice and the kids are still in school. However, the crowds should be lite anytime before Memorial Day(May 31). If you use the Flash Pass, the crowds shouldn't be a problem either way.

As far as car rental goes, if you are staying in Manhattan, I would not recommend it. Traffic in the city is terrible. Plus, finding parking is a chore or very expensive.

Our mass transit system is terrific. You can get almost anywhere in NYC rather easily. Also, you can buy a relatively inexpensive unlimited usage pass for your stay.

Now, Great Adventure is not in NYC, but is a 2-hour drive away in central New Jersey. However, the Port Authority in Manhattan has a bus that goes there at around 8AM for a low price of around $20 round trip.

I wish you an early welcome to my fair city. You'll have a great time. Hope I could be of some help.
