I Believe The Mime is the best paid cast member, he is a genius, his performance on Sea Lion Tonite is realy hilarious.

I have no idea, but I would vote for the trainers. It is not easy to get animals of any kind to perform.

It's interesting you should mention that. Marine mammal trainers as a whole, at parks other than Sea World, are lucky if they clear more than around $30K/year. Most make less.

Like zookeeper, training (in most cases) is a 'Labor of Love,' if you will. Those who have chosen the field go into it, for the most part, because they are far more interested in working with the critters than they are in making their life's fortune.

With that said -- I have no idea what the current pay rates are for the training staff at any Sea World park. And yes, working well with animals as smart as dolphins and whales takes considerable skill, empathy, a thick skin, and a keen sense of humor.

If, by "cast member" you simply mean "employee," that's easy: The one with the highest paycheck would likely be the curator/president of the park.

Happy travels.

i doubt they will pay a mime more money than someone who has to get in the water with a 30,000 pound killing machine, i think that the trainers would be outraged. no matter how funny the mime is, he is hilarious by the way.

It used to be Clyde but Seamore renegotiated his contract.
