Sea World Orlando - trip reportSea World Orlando: Great time, loved Blue Horizons show and Clyde and Seamore takes Pirate Island show. Penguin encounter was ok, shark encounter was great. Stay away from Voyagers Smokehouse restaurant, that was a big dissappintment.

My wife and three children had great fun at Sea World Orlando, except for one bad restaurant. We didn't catch Believe because we only had 5 hours at the park, but we all loved Blue Horizon show and Clyde and Seamore take Pirate Island. The penguin encounter was all right, worth a quick walk through. The shark encounter was great. Unfortunately we ate dinner at Voyagers Smokehouse which was a huge dissappintment. This wasn't just your average theme park bad, it was really, well, pathetic, which is what we rated it. This is buffet style (think cafeteria style) food selection. I have no problem with that if the food us good and service is prompt, but unfortunately that was not our experience. The chicken was OK, but the French fries were limp and greasy, the ribs and beef brisket were tough and had no flavor, and the service was slow and, well, high school cafeteria like. Stay away!!Posted April 5, 2010 at 7:12 PM Glad we went to Sea World Orlando, well with the trip!! Kids had a great time, and the shows were fun. Next time we will take in Believe, the timing just didn't work out on this trip. Overall a great family experience!

Thanks for the quick trip report, but what happened to Kraken and Manta? No coasters on this trip? =( Posted April 6, 2010 at 2:52 AM
