Inexpensive Motel recommendations close to CedarPoint ??
Cedar Point: Inexpensive motel close to CedarPoint for4 adults...
4 adults traveling from Delaware to CedarPoint next week. Interested in finding an inexpensive, clean motel close to the park to stay for a couple days. Can anyone suggest a good 'mom/pop' motel/inn. We're not hard to please...basically need a clean place to crash with hot shower. Any suggestions??

You're not gonna find anything "cheap"..depending on your definition of the word...unless it's a weeknight. Someone mentioned Maples Motel. That's a good choice, close to the causeway/entrance. The Travelodge out on Rt. 250 is further away from the park, but close to a ton of restaurants. But expect to pay through the nose on a weekend no matter what you choose. Have a blast!
Last time we went we stayed during the week at a Day's Inn, I can't recall the road but it was less then 3 miles from the park. Only paid about $89 a night in high summer and it was clean. Otherwise your best bets are internet reservations or if you feel lucky during the week picking up a local coupon guide.
