From Maryann BalintThe crowds are usually not bad in mid September however they are only open Saturday & Sunday the weekends of the 11th & 18th. On Friday 9/24 they open with Howl-O-Scream which is a blast.

From Mike GallagherI'm interested to know myself. I'm thinking about a weekend trip for my birthday, which is Sept. 12. The excursion would likely also include Carowinds. I'd drive to NC Friday, visit Carowinds until late afternoon/early evening Saturday. Drive to Williamsburg Saturday night. Celebrate my 46th with a new friend (Griffon) and an old one (Nessie.) Drive home Monday.

Also, I'm having trouble finding any decent discounts for BG. Any thoughts? I have a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass from Dorney, so I'm covered for Carowinds.
From Tyler BellNo bad crowds, I went on August 31 last year ,my longest wait for a ride was five minutes, and that was for Apollos Chariot.

From Tyler S.Crowds shouldn't be too bad at all as long as it's not during howl-o-scream.
