Magic Mountain is getting a new ride, and I don't know whether it will be fun or not.Six Flags Magic Mountain: How does it feel to ride an Intamin Zacspin? I know they have no inversions, but do the cars flip, since it's considered a 4th dimension coaster?

It is suppost to be very fun, despite it's look. It is 107 feet, a nice hieght for a coaster like this, and will provide some fun thrills I am sure everyone will enjoy.Posted October 20, 2010 at 2:26 PM ZacSpins have been very successful in Europe and I hope the same here now as well!

Well, people tell me I should compare it to a Screamin Squirrel layout. But Screamin Squirrels go upside down.Posted October 20, 2010 at 2:47 PM

Do not compare to a Screamin' Squirrel! That is a panfale ride which is basically a normal coaster car hanging you upside down for long periods of time. ZacSpins, well, spin when they go upside down.Posted October 20, 2010 at 3:16 PM

I heard that the cars on a ZacSpin are like those found on a Zipper.Posted October 21, 2010 at 11:34 AM

Sarah, the action is similar to a Zipper, but the cars are not fully enclosed.Posted October 21, 2010 at 12:58 PM I wish I could ride a Zipper again. I'm not sure I'd fit, though I'd soitenly try. I had the chance back in the spring, but the apparently industry-wide NO SOLO RIDERS rule...which also seems to apply to some flats at major parks...was in effect. This particular Zipper was at my parish carnival.
From Sarah Meeks
Does this rule apply to ZacSpins? I hope not. I can never find anyone who would go on the Zipper with me. It's so frustrating because that's my favorite carnival ride, but the No Solo Riders rule is in effect at every carnival I've been to.Posted October 22, 2010 at 1:04 PM
