NEWS: Dollywood Takes Home Applause Award

Dollywood: Dolly Parton was on hand at IAAPA Expo 2010 to accept the Applause Award for her theme park Tuesday.

Dolly Parton was on hand at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions 2010 Expo in Orlando on Tuesday to accept the Applause Award for her Dollywood theme park. Dolly Parton told the crowd on attending the opening ceremonies that, “We are so honored to win this award. Our success over the last 25 years is because of the great team at Dollywood that I lovingly call my other family! All those folks back home cooking, cleaning, entertaining and landscaping – I am proud of every one of them,”

Dollywood is a wonderful park. One of the best! Congratulations to the park. This award is much-deserved.
