Busch Gardens Williamsburg visit in April?
Busch Gardens Williamsburg: Question about crowds
We are thinking of bringing our 7y old and 5y old boys for April vacation to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. Any ideas how the crowds are?
I was there in mid April last year and the crowds weren't too bad. The longest wait was for Apollo's Chariot, which was at forty five minutes and the other rides had barely any wait at all. I'd say the crowds will be very moderate; it won't be packed, but the crowds won't be small either.
It's usually pretty nice at the park that time of year and the crowds are manageable. The Mach Tower doesn't open until Memorial Day, so the adventure seekers will be waiting for that.
If you haven't already bought your tickets yet, you are in luck. Busch Gardens is running a promotion for a limited time. You can buy one ticket and get another ticket for free. What this means is that for families of 4 you only have to buy 2 tickets.
It appears that the FUN CARD is open to everyone this year, no matter where they live, so that would help with multiple days.
Does spring break season affect crowds much during April? The park is scheduled to be open during two separate weeks that month, so I assume it is for the potential spring break crowds.
