Something New Coming to Kings Island?

Kings Island: "Something Big is coming to Kings Island. Big announcement this Friday, March 18th!"

I got an email from King's Island saying they have a big announcement on Friday for "something big". I know they have their new swing/tower ride coming but that's already announced and supposed to be open this season.

Anyone heard any rumors? New coaster?

RCDB doesn't have anything listed yet so it's possible it could be anything. When we drove by just two weeks ago my husband didn't spot anything new from the highway other then sections for the new Wave Swinger.

Could be for 2012?

I live in Mason, and I would imagine that KI is referring to the animated dinosaur walk that will be unveiled on Friday. Check out this link to an article from our local newspaper, The Pulse-Journal.

Sounds like that's it then. Thanks for posting that link Melissa. Not exactly a coaster but sounds like it's something original.
